Mars
The planet mars stays in one house for approximately 45 days. It
completes its cycles through all the twelve moon signs in 18 months.
During its transit from one house to another, it makes its combinations
with different planets.
Mars is grouped amongst malefic planets. It has destructive tendencies.
If not well placed in a chart or if not combined with other beneficiary
planets, it can create havoc.
Mars speaks
about the capacity and the capabilities of a person. Mars cuts.
If well placed, one can become a surgeon, army commander, or the
leader of an organization. It gives the capacity to withstand hard
work and also administrative capabilities.
If mars is weak, the vigor and energy of a person is low and he
will get fatigued or exhausted fast.
He will also be incapable of being a good administrator.
Sometimes mars stays in one house for more than its usual tenure
of 45 days. It can remain in a house for 3 months, 6 months, or
even 9 months.
It means that mars takes that much time to cross that particular
house.
i.e. its speed becomes slower.
Therefore a
person having a well placed mars, and is generally quick and efficient
in his work, will become slower and less active.
People with
ill-placed mars become passive and ineffective.
Very recent example of slow mars was from June 2003 to December
2003.
Mars was passing
through Aquarius. To make matters worse, it began to retrograde
from 27th July to 25th September.
The following results were noted in this period:
Increase in accidents, wars, floods, earthquakes, reshuffle in governments,
fluctuation in markets, spread of epidemics such as SARS and dengue,
military coups (Sri Lanka), murders, robberies etc.
You can verify
this by looking back into that time viz. a viz. Your country, state,
town and people who are close to you.
You would find normalcy returning from December onwards.
We would love to know your observations.
You can specify
information about the things that have occurred in the above-mentioned
period.
It would be helpful for us to study them from an astrological angle
and derive some conclusion for further reference.
